The primary way to be involved in the life of the congregation is to participate in services and Bible studies. We also enjoy socializing with each other at coffee hour after the end of the early service and before the beginning of Sunday school and adult Bible study each week. Other fellowship opportunities will be announced in the bulletin as they occur.
In addition there are several groups within the congregation that welcome new participants:
If you are in 6th – 12th grade, join us for monthly youth group events! We plan a variety of social and servant events throughout the year. We bake cookies in December, make Easter breakfast for the congregation, attend sporting events, have fun ice skating or playing laser tag, or chill out in the basement and watch movies. Every other summer we attend a Higher Things conference with other LCMS youth from across the country. Youth group events are always open to friends and family members. Contact the youth group organizer Stephanie to be added to the mailing list and be notified of upcoming events.
LCMS U @ Stanford
We welcome students from any nearby colleges to join us for Sunday services and connect with the LCMS U chapter at Trinity. We’re always happy to provide rides, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you’d like to be picked up for church services or other events. Follow us on Facebook.
Trinity’s Women’s Guild meets monthly for lunch and fellowship on the first Wednesday of every month. We also participate in local LWML meetings and support ingatherings for zone and district retreats. Contact Marilyn for more information.
Who arranges the flowers on the altar each Sunday? How are the paraments cared for? Exactly how many candles does Trinity go through in a year? Join the altar guild and find out the answers! Anyone can join (that means you men!). Contact Jan for more info.
